Launch Package Engineer responsible for the integration of payloads and hardware into the Space Shuttle, European Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV), and the Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) with subsequent delivery and incorporation into the International Space Station (ISS). Acted as liaison between hardware providers and the customer and ensuring all hardware be delivered on time and within budget. Position also included real-time mission operations support, development and implementation of safety standards, quality assurance, manifest coordination, scheduling, system integration testing and final integration testing, and support of Visiting Vehicle Team in all areas of integration. Software quality engineering functions included assessing software development, testing, and verification procedures and processes for compliance to requirements. Audited processes and products to ensure compliance to CMMI certification level and corporate processes and government standards. As a senior engineer I mentored and conducted training to junior level quality assurance engineers and implemented an Earned Value Management (EVM) process to track progress and status of projects.
